There is a very big difference between summer and fall hairstyles and many of us get confused within the two (I know I did). These two seasons give off different vibes and so does their hairstyles, makeup, outfits and more. Today, I'm going to show you 3 autumn hairstyles that are worn very often in this time of year. I do rarely wear them because I sometimes run out of time but these are great for parties, get - togethers and more. Let's get into it!

The three hairstyles I'm going to teach you how to master are: "The Side Braid", "The Messy Bun" and "The Effortless Wave". If you want to learn how to do any of these, then keep on reading.

~SIDE BRAID~

First, I reccomend that you try this braid with medium to long length hair. To begin with add any products you want to your hair. Make sure your hair is completely dry. Now, part your hair asymmetrical. It really doesn't matter if there is more hair to the left or to the right. I find that if your going for the messy look, which is great for this season, then to part your hair with your fingers. I usually part ym hair asymmetrical so, if you do, please skip this step. Now take all your hair and gather it. Now, section of your hair into 3 parts. You should have 3 strands of hair and try to make them have the same amount of hair in each strand for it to look effortless. Start with either your left or right strand and cross it over the middle so, it ends up in the opposite end. Keep crossing it over the middle until your hair is fully braided. I reccomend leaving around 1-2 (depends on layers and length) unbraided and get a small black elastic and tie it off. If you want to make your braid for voluminize, then try strecthing it out but not too much for it to come completely loose. And ther you have it, a beautiful and elegant side hair. Great for any special occasions or to spice up your day!

~MESSY BUN~

I reccomend that you try this braid with medium to long length hair. To begin with add any products you want to your hair. I reccomend you not trying this hairstyle if your hair is damp or you just washed it a few hours ago. The results may not be like you want but you never know! To begin with tie a high ponytail. Higher than your average horizon. As high as possible is the best way to go. Now, take the ponytail and twist it until its fully twisted. Now take the twisted ponytail and bring it up to where your hair tie is. Using your hair tie as a guide and go around the hair tie. I sometimes like puting my finger in the middle and swirl the twisted hair around my finger. Now, take in the end of that ponytail into the bun and get a hair tie and tie the bun. For the messy look, I reccomend taking bits of pieces of air out of the bun so, it doesn't look heavenly and neat. Now, if any small bits aren't budging and are coming loose, get bobby pins and pin them down. If you want, hairspray the bun and the ends so, they won't move. And, Voila! A simple guide to a messy bun!

~EFFORTLESS WAVES~

First, I reccomend that you try this braid with short to medium length hair. I reccomend you try this with non-layered hair. If you do, then you have to completely do this to your hair.To begin with add any products you want to your hair. For this hairstyle, you will need a straightner and hairspray mainly. First, get your comb and comb out your hair and make a part (any part will do). Now, set your straightner to medium and get strands of hair. What I like about this hairstyle is that you don't have to completely do this to all your hair. Only to most of it and if your miss some, it doesn't matter. It will look great anyways. Now twirl your hair around your straightner like you would if you were curling your hair. Don't keep it on for too long because then you would get a curly wave which isn't the hair we are aiming for. Now keep on doing this to all/most of your hair and here we have it. The effortless waves! What I love about this look is how easy it is then curling plus you can always accesorize it. I sometimes like braiding my hair and puting it across my head to act like a headband. There are many other ways too!
